Brent McDermott joined The Bouma Group in the fall of 2022, nearly 10 years after relocating to Ann Arbor. He is a Central Michigan University graduate, with a degree in public administration and community development. 

Before obtaining his real estate license in 2022, Brent worked as a sales trainer, event director, project manager, and hospitality director. His passion for client advocacy and local expertise led him to The Bouma Group, where he found like-minded teammates and a career that could utilize his strengths and past experiences.

When Brent isn’t showing homes, you can usually find him hiking with his dog in Bird Hills, trying out a local restaurant, or enjoying a coffee from Roos Roast or Hyperion. An avid marathoner, Brent has run every residential street in Ann Arbor in the last 10 years.
